PAGE GROUPS

You can group together the pages of analyzed sites into page groups. Setting these page groups is optional.

Note:
The same page can belong to several groups.
A group of pages is only valid in the project for which it has been created.

What is the point?

You will be able to structure your reports by displaying logic groups.
Here is an example for a camera e-commerce website:

/camera.php

/compact-camera.php

/reflex-camera.php

"Category pages" group

/Canon-EOS550d.php

/Nikon-D90.php

"Product pages" group

You can imagine other classifications:

  • Articles pages / heading pages / tag pages/ static pages
  • Template-test 1 / Template-test2 / Template-test3

In fact, the choice is limitless. It is up to you to find the classifications that work best for you.

How can I create page groups?

A group of pages is only valid for 1 project. You must therefore create URL groups within each project.

You can either use the link "Manage your groups" at the top of the screen,
or the shortcuts provided in the "Filter zone".

Manage your groups

The window opposite opens.

To create a pages group:

1. In the right-hand area, click on the Create a group button

2. Give this group a name

3. In the left-hand area, create the URL filters.
E.g.: */actu/* will take all of the pages whose URL contains the text /actu/
You can preview the pages which may be affected by this filter. These pages are collected in a list of Performance control URLs .

4. Add the URL mask by clicking on the '+' button.

You can also add a page individually (click on the '+' button alongside its URL)
